What is Hemingway's Safaris Africa ?

Hemingway's Safaris Africa is a holiday club, which provides its members with holiday accommodation in an extensive portfolio of resorts.  As a Hemingway's Safaris Africa member you may choose to holiday where, when and how you want.

What is Holiday Point System?

As a member in Hemingway's Safaris Africa you receive your annual allocation of Holiday Points, which are used to book your holiday time in the resort that forms part of this points system. Because Hemingway's Safaris Africa is affiliated to RCI, you have access to RCI resorts in Africa and overseas.

Can l buy more points later ?

Yes. If at any time you wish to increase your annual allocation of points, you can purchase more points and add them to your portfolio.  The price you pay per point initially will be frozen for you for three years.  After that you can add additional points at the going price per point.

Is there a fee to pay for more points?

The cost of servicing and maintaining the accommodation in the system must be paid for.  The calculation of the levy is based upon the total number of points owned, irrespective of where, when and how many reservations you make. The levy is payable in advance and prior to you making your reservation.

I invested in Hemingway's Safaris Africa , where is the accomodation coming from?

Over the years, Hemingway’s Safaris Africa has purchased weeks of accommodation in different resorts. The value of these weeks is converted into points in which the public can invest in for their holiday accommodation requirements. Once you have invested in Hemingway’s Safaris Africa you become a member of TVG and the points represent an asset to which you have continuous access. You can book holidays to the same value as represented by your holiday points allocation.

What are my chances to get accomodation where and when l want ?

Hemingway's Safaris Africa accommodates the members' holiday requests from its portfolio of holiday accommodation.  If the member cannot be accommodated within its portfolio, the Club will facilitate the accommodation through other exchange organisations.

As a last option, the Trustees may endeavor to purchase or rent holiday accommodation to the member's satisfaction, at no cost to the member, provided the request is made eight months prior to occupation.
